The University Calls for Justice & Avenge

Under the auspice of Dr Prof. Emad Abdul Galiel, president of the university, the university leaders held a march condemning the current incidents of Port Said stadium. The march was attended by: Dr Prof. Atif Alam el- Din; vice-president for students and educational affairs, Dr Prof. Inas el- Sheikh; vice-president for community services and environmental affairs, Dr Prof. Rashed el- Qassaby; vice-president for postgraduate studies and research, and the deans of faculties. The march is a protest on the last criminal incidents in Port Said; and condemning the attacking performance of the mass media and some of the community on Port Said.

The march called for avenging the souls of the martyrs and asserted that Port Said has no hand in theses criminal acts. The leaders of the university asserted that these acts are of the home enemy who bear no good for this country; and that Port Said is always a symbol of courage and respect. Moreover, the march assured that Port Said is the defense line for Egypt as it was within the triple invasion in 1956, the 1967 war, and 1973 war. On this occasion the university submitted many heartfelt condolences and mourned the sad dismiss of two youngest students of the university.

Notably to say, the protest commenced at 10:30 am and ended with performing the absent funeral pray in the campus of the faculties of engineering and commerce in Port Fouad at 12:30.
